You can also include a stump speech video.

People don’t read a lot of text on websites - so you’ll need less copy that you probably think.
The Content Checklist that comes with this template will guide you on what you need and how many words.
Of course, the template is flexible and you can add more where ever you like!

While your template will look great on mobile devices, when it comes to editing a template and building your site, it’s much easier to use a computer.

Yes. However this template is designed to be very easy to update. If you follow the step by step guide you should be able to do it yourself.

Yes. All Squarespace websites are fully responsive, meaning they content will resize and adjust to fit the screen they are viewed on.
This template has been set up for all device sizes - but if you add a lot of new content, or delete a lot of content, you may need to make some changes so it works on a mobile device. Fortunately, it’s just a matter of dragging boxes around so they are in the right order.

Yes. Squarespace is one of the most DIY platforms out there - allowing you to see everything you are doing as you make changes.
The videos in the step by step guide will show you everything you need to know as you update the template and make it your own.

The Donation button, page, forms and Complete Donation page are an example of what you can do on Squarespace to collect the data required under the Act and accept payment directly to your campaign bank account.
While this example has been guided by samples provided by the ECQ, it should not be considered a complete system. You will need to review the content and set up to ensure it works for you and meets your needs to adhere to the current law as a candidate.
We will go through the set up in depth in the Template Guide, but ultimately the liability to ensure it stacks up legally rests with the candidate.
